Boxing Ballerina

This project is a continuation of the Twoface sculpture project.

After having the opportunity in my pervious project "Twoface", to explore using different hard materials, I wanted to create something that expresses my passion for fighting toxic masculinity.

Twoface was a sculpture which I created to tell the story of my negative experiences with toxic masculinity. Working with hard materials inspired me to test my skills and explore what else I could create using the same techniques.

When approaching this project I decided to continue exposing the impacts of toxic masculinity on our society, as I felt there is more to uncover.

I know that I am not the only person that has grappled with these challenges and therefore I took on the task of researching other people's stories. I found hundreds.
