.DE RAADT is the work of Samuel de Raadt, an independent designer based in Melbourne, Australia, with an passion for the craft of making clothing. Inspired by dark futurism, curiosity, and imagination, the label approaches design with a focus on narrative and detail, and works closely with local fabric dyers and suppliers to reinvest in the Australian fashion industry.

Unlike labels that utilise large-scale production, every piece is made in the South Melbourne studio, start to finish, by either de Raadt or a single machinist dedicated solely to that garment. This is slow fashion at its core, focused on quality, ethics, and longevity rather than mass production.

This small-scale, hands-on approach means production is intentionally limited. This ensures there is no deadstock, making the process more ethical and sustainable, while giving each piece the attention and care it deserves. The result is clothing that feels genuinely personal, made with the wearer in mind.
